Riverway

Townsville City Council has just announced some New Years’ Eve celebrations. Head down to Riverway and enjoy Toy Story 4 on the big screen, as well as food trucks and family-friendly fireworks at 8 pm. Gates open 5 pm and Toy Story starts at 6:15 pm.
The Strand

The Strand sky will light up at midnight with a spectacular fireworks display. If you are watching the fireworks from your home or from the comfort of your car make sure you tune into 102.3 Triple M to listen to the “Resilience” themed soundtrack accompanying the fireworks display.
Stage Door Theatre Restaurant

Head over to the Island for New Years’ where Stage Door Presents the “Best of Stage Door” in three brackets until midnight. Sumptuous food, four-hour drinks package, and a countdown to midnight. Put on your Glad Rags as they “Put on the Ritz” for a New Years’ Eve you’ll never forget. Fabulous music, dancing and as usual a whole lot of laughs. Tickets here.
